OVERVIEW:
Personnel in this position work under the direction of the
Director of Clinical Support to provide consulting services that
offer value to the customer while ensuring increased revenue,
maximum profitability and appropriate long-range growth
opportunities that meet Olympus EndoSite business objectives.
Will develop educational programs with management guidance and
teach educational programs nationally.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide EndoSite Fee for Service consulting services as
assigned or directed by the Director of Clinical Support to
hospital base GI Units, Mulitspeciality units, GI Private
Endoscopy Clinics (PEC) and Multispeciality PEC customers. These
include, but are not limited to the following deliverables
-Update, support, and enhance the existing EndoSite business
tools and consulting reports. Business tools include but are not
limited to: Multispeciality (MS) EndoPlanner, SmartDraw, Policy
& Procedure Templates, All PEC Development / Project
Facilitation Templates, EndoEfficiency Tools, All Analysis
Consulting Templates, All PEC Development / Project Facilitation
Templates and Manuals.
- Strong problem solving experience &
organization needed.
- Work closely with Director of Clinical Support and Marketing team to
facilitate the internal programs and systems designed to achieve
the management and delivery of all EndoSite objectives.
- Attend and speak at industry symposiums and professional conferences, as
needed and appropriate.
- Interact with sales and marketing personnel on a regular basis as
appropriate to help build a strong working relationship and
network.
- Teach educational programs as required nationally.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current RN license required as appropriate.
- Certification in sub-specialty desired.
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited school required, preferably in
nursing, Masters Degree in related field desirable.
- Strong current medical/clinical background, report writing and
presentation skills needed.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Endoscopy, hospital management and/or
Ambulatory Care Centre or Office Based Endoscopy development or
Multispeciality experience required.
- Previous medical industry experience with clinical, sales support or
marketing role at a leading healthcare company or provider
preferred.
- Strong report writing, communication and presentation skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to support a team effort and good interpersonal
skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and other
data analysis computer programs.
- Self motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to travel as necessary, domestic & international – up to 50%.
- Familiar with endoscopy, anatomy, GI and Surgical procedures and
products.
- Knowledge of service product business as well as capital equipment
business is required.
- Bilingual skills (French and English) is an asset.
