We have now over 171 nurses certified in Gastroenterology.
Remarkable in only two years. I would like to encourage the other nurses to
embark on the Certification road. This year C N A has prepared a resource
manual for nurses planning to facilitate a study group, or participate in a
study group or prepare on their own but wanting to consult a study group.
This manual is available in French or in English. It is available on- line
from C N A web site http://www.cna-aiic.ca.
Earning certification and maintaining it should inspire nurses to reflect on
their continuing competence and the achievement of their career visions. I
encourage you to consider writing the certification exam.
